Membership Dues Refund Policy

 

1. General Policy

Membership dues are billed in exchange for access to benefits, services, and/or privileges. By purchasing or renewing a membership, you agree to this refund policy.

2. Refund Eligibility

A. Annual Memberships

• Membership dues are non-refundable once the membership term begins, except as required by law.
• If a written cancellation request is received within 3 days of purchase and before any membership benefits have been used, a full or partial refund may be issued at our discretion.
• No prorated refunds will be provided for unused time during the membership term unless required by applicable law.

B. Monthly or Recurring Memberships

• You may cancel at any time.
• Cancellation will stop future billing.
• No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods unless required by law.
• If cancellation is submitted before the next billing date, you will not be charged for the next cycle.
  
  

3. Automatic Renewal Disclosure

If your membership renews automatically:

• You authorize recurring charges to your credit card.
• Renewal terms, billing frequency, and cancellation instructions are clearly disclosed at enrollment.
• You may cancel by contacting us at info@aimsintl.org.
• This policy complies with applicable automatic renewal laws, including state laws such as California’s Automatic Renewal Law (if applicable).
  
  

4. Method of Refund

• Refunds for credit card payments will be issued only to the original credit card used.
• We do not provide cash refunds for credit card transactions.
• Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days, though posting times depend on your card issuer.

 

5. Chargebacks & Billing Disputes

If you believe you were billed in error, please contact us at info@aimsintl.org before initiating a dispute with your card issuer. We are committed to resolving billing concerns promptly.

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may delay resolution and could result in temporary suspension of membership benefits during review.

6. Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds may be considered in cases of:

• Duplicate charges
• Billing errors
• Military deployment

Approval of exceptions is at our sole discretion unless otherwise required by law.

7. Non-Transferability

Membership dues are non-transferable and may not be assigned to another individual unless expressly permitted.

8. Compliance Statement

This policy is designed to comply with:

• U.S. federal and state consumer protection laws
• Card network operating regulations
• Applicable automatic renewal and subscription billing laws

 

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable law.
