Bio: Rigging Manager - Rigging/Rope Access Department Walt Disney World November 2009 Present - Manage a hourly workforce of 25 technicians and Salaried workforce of 2 managers in entertainment, construction, and maintenance fields. - Manage operations of rigging and rope access team and 31,500 sq. ft. storage rental facility including scheduling, payments, budgets, and growth development. - Increased the rigging/rope access to a multi-million dollar level, increasing 200% during tenure - Diversified department by creating and nurturing a SPRAT rope access team compiled of 23 certified technicians to fill a need to multiple partners. Labor utilizing Rope Access teams has grown 350% since inception - Organize and lead the rigging department to ensure safety and accountability within the rigging team by following OSHA, ANSI, and Disney Overhead Guidelines - Sit on SPRAT and PLASA committees to mold and develop the standards that govern each organization - Bolstered our training/certification program to develop a culture of safety and efficiency. Training/certification opportunities have increased 325% in the last five years - Standardize numerous business processes to improve/maintain safety, work-life balance, and efficiency. Navigated a 75% increase in labor demand while dropping overtime 35% during tenure - Cultivate relationships with Disney partners outside of the entertainment sector to enhance the offerings of the rigging team on a international scale as well as adding additional revenue stream to my teams budget. In 2015, 20% of total workforce was dedicated to international projects - Build new relationships with external vendors to ensure quality and best price for products used by the rigging/rope access team
